Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
At Stuff Rachel Says, we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users, regardless of ability or technology. We believe that everyone deserves an inclusive digital experience, and we take care and consideration in the design and development of this site.
We strive to make our content accessible and usable for as many people as possible. This includes designing with accessibility in mind from the outset and continuously reviewing and improving our site to meet the needs of all visitors. We aspire to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards. Our website is designed and developed with these principles at the forefront.
What We’re Doing
To ensure a seamless experience, we have implemented the following:
-
Alt-Text: All functional images and graphics include descriptive alternative text.
-
Language: The site language is set to English (UK) for proper screen reader pronunciation.
-
Navigation: We prioritise clear, consistent navigation and keyboard-only accessibility.
-
Visual Design: We maintain high colour contrast ratios and legible typography.
-
Responsiveness: Our site is optimised for various devices, from desktops to smartphones.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing journey. While we have made efforts to follow best practices and meet current accessibility standards, we recognize that there may still be areas that need improvement. We know that some parts of this website are out of our control, such as third-party links (like Calendly). But we're doing our utmost to make this website as accessible as we can.
We welcome all feedback, especially those using assistive technologies - so we can continue to refine and enhance the experience.
